When did you start drawing and making a video?
A. 그림은 초등학생부터 했으니까 10년정도, 영상도 아마 비슷하겠네요.

I start to drawing when I was elementary school student. (About 10 years ago), and maybe making a video is same with it. Actually, I started to make videos in earnest less than 2 years.

I was a person who didn’t work well in another area, but art is the best thing that I can work nicely than any other things, and I wanted to do it well too.

A. 굉장히 잡다한 곳에서 영향을 받습니다만, 주로 책이나 영상미가 좋은 비디오, 좋아하는 음악정도가 되겠습니다.
I get inspirations from various things, but mostly I get them from books, videos that have good visual beauty, and songs that I like.

What things do you make first? Universe or OC?
A. 먼저 좋아하는 자캐를 만들다가 한 가지 그럴듯한 테마가 발견되면 세계관을 짜고, 거기에 주변인물들을 작성해 넣습니다. 그리고 다시 세계관을 손보죠. 간략히 말하자면... 뒤죽박죽이네요.
When I find a good theme during the make OC, then I make a Universe and extra OCs that relate to the first OC, and again I restart to make a Universe. So..In short, it is a mishmash.

A. 제 첫 밈 영상이 작년 7월 초 즈음이니 그쯤이겠네요.
사실 밈이라는 것을 안 지는 얼마 되지 않았습니다.
My first meme was made in the early July, last year.
Actually, I knew about the ‘meme’ very recently.

How long did you take to make a video?
A. 완성도가 높은 영상을 기준으로 하면 소스를 준비하는데 3-5일, 영상으로 트위닝하고 편집하는데 3-4일 정도 걸립니다. 아이디어를 정리하는 시간까지하면 그것보다 더 걸리고요.
Based on the high quality video, I took time to prepare the source about 3 ~5 days, tweenning them in a video, and editing it is taking about 3~4 days. If I add the time to organize ideas, it will be take more than that time.

A. 고등학교 때 미대입시를 위한 그림공부를 한 적이 있습니다.
그 외의 캐릭터 드로잉은 90% 독학입니다. 10%는 일러스트 학원 조금 다니다 때려친 것입니다. 영상편집은 독학을 해오다가.. 대학에 오면서 조금씩 배우고있고, 그에따라 유튜브 강좌로 공부도 하니까... 대부분 독학이네요.
I studied drawing when I was a high school student to entering the College. The other thing like Character drawing (design) is consist of 90% self-studying, 10% had studied in private educational institute (I went there very short term.)
And I am studying other things in College, so well...I almost self-studied.

Could you explain about the Victorism?
A. 승전교는 승리의 신을 섬기는 종교의 형태를 하고 있지만, 전쟁을 추구하는 비윤리적 집단입니다. 승리만이 정의이며 강한 것은 선, 약한 것은 악이라 칭합니다. 승리하는 쪽이 옳다고 생각하며, 이것은 승리의 신이 옳은 자에게 가호를 내리기 때문이라고 생각합니다.
이들은 무의식의 세계에서 교단을 설립하고, 사람들의 무의식을 돌아다니며 불화를 일으키고, 폭력성을 이끌어내기도 하고, 직접 의식의 세계로 내려와 전쟁을 주도하기도 합니다. 이들의 목적은 인류의 파멸. 어차피 이 세계에는 구원이 존재하지 않으니 인류 스스로가 이끌어낼 수 있는 구원인 자멸을 택하게 하려는것입니다. 차라리 아무것도 없게 만들어 버리자는 것이죠. 굉장히... 극단적이고 비윤리적입니다.
Victorism’s form is a kind of religion that believe the God of Victory, but they are unethical group which seeks the war. Victory is the only justice for them. They establish religion in the unconscious world, and walk around people’s unconscious, cause disharmony, evoke their violence, and goes down to the conscious world to take lead the war. Victorism’s the main purpose is the destruction of human beings, because in this world, the salvation doesn’t exist, so they make people to lead a self-destruction which is the only salvation that people can derive their own.
‘The only salvation of us isn’t exist, so let’s make the world, nothing’ is the Victorism’s idea, and that is really extremely and immoral thing.

A. 글쎄요. 그냥 어떤 편견을 따라가지 않고, 여러 인간상을 자유롭고 다양하게 묘사해보고 싶었습니다. 잘하고 있는지는 잘 모르겠지만요. 말은 이렇게 하지만 대부분 그냥 멋있어보이게 하기 위해 노력합니다.(?)
Well, I just want to describe various personalities freely, didn’t follow one bias. I don’t know that I am doing good. I’m saying like this, but actually I just try to make OCs look fabulous. (?)

Q. 키스미와 시엘은 왜 사이가 좋지 않나요?
Why KissMe and Ciel are in a bad relationship?
A. 서로의 신념차이 때문입니다. 키스미는 패배자들을 방해되니 죽여없애야한다고 생각하지만, 시엘은 그들을 격려해 다시 전장으로 보내야한다고 생각하지요. 서로의 생각을 이해하지 못해 서로 비난만 하다보니 사이가 나빠졌습니다.
It is because they have different beliefs. KissMe thinks the defeated are obstacles, so he thinks they must be killed. But Ciel thinks they have to encourage the defeated to make the defeated go back into the battlefield.

A. 이건 제가 계속 강조하고 싶은 것이기도 합니다. 어떤 캐릭터가 어떤 성별인지보다도, 하나의 인격체로 바라봐주었으면 하는 바램이 있습니다. 어떤 한 캐릭터를 해석하는데에 성별이 그렇게 중요할까요? 우리는 어떤 캐릭터가 여자인지, 남자인지, 아니면 다른 성별인지 판단하는 것보다도 그 하나의 인격체에 집중하는 연습이 먼저 이루어질 필요가 있다고 생각합니다. 우리들도 우리들 자신 자체로 인정받고 싶듯이요.
This is the most important thing that I want to emphasize to you. Please look a character just as a person rather than a gender. Are the character’s genders really important to analyze them? We don’t have to judge about which character is male or female. I think we need some practice to pay attention to the character’s own personality, not their gender, just like us who want to be recognized for ourselves.

Q. 오너캐는 어떻게 만들어졌나요? 마음에 드나요?
How was the owner character made? Do you like it?
A. 오너캐는 제가 흑백을 좋아하고, 오드아이를 좋아해 어쩌다보니 만들어진 캐릭터입니다. 처음에는 더듬이가 없었는데, 시간이 흐르고 보니 어쩌다 생겨있었습니다. 마음에 든다기보단... 너무 오래된 친구같아서 그냥 받아들이고 있습니다.
I like odd eye (Heterochromia iridum, eyes that have different colors each.), black and white, so my owner character was just made that reason. Actually, there was no antenna to my character at first, but the times go by... it grew (?) Well, My owner character is just like an old friend, so I don’t have any feeling about it.
